Nova (Logan) Turner

Nova Logan Turner, of Russellville, Ky. passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Tristar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  She was born in Morgantown, Ky. on April 3, 1937 to the late Charles Amos and Mable Grace Felts Logan.  Nova was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She worked at Kane’s Manufacturing and retired from Red Kap Industries.  She enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.  She was preceded in death by her parents; children Elizabeth Nunn and Charles Turner Jr.; granddaughter Leslie Nunn; brother David Logan and his wife Mary Logan.

Nova is survived by her husband of 34 years, Charles Turner; children Mickey Joe Turner, Annette Eblen and Renea Stone; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings Tim Logan, Harold Logan (Lou) and Vola Saintsing (Robert); many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Reed officiating.  Burial will be held in the Caney Fork Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5 from 3pm – 8pm and Monday, March 6 from 10am until 1pm at Smith Funeral Home.
