Pete Delgado

Pete Delgado, 68, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in East Chicago, IL on Oct. 8, 1952 to the late Sotero and Trinidad Hernandez Delgado  Pete retired from Corvac and formerly worked at a steel mill in Gary, IN, he also worked many years at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John, Paul and Richard Delgado and sister Alice Delgado.

He is survived by his companion of more than 28 years, Mary Adkins of Morgantown; daughter Rebecca Pendley (Garrett) of Morgantown; son James Conkright of Morgantown; grandchildren Shelby  and Morgan Conkright, Mackenzie, Jax and Savannah Pendley all of Morgantown; great grandson Hayden; sisters Maria Gomez (Miguel) and Celia Romero (Gabriel) all of Chicago and Mary Ann Sanchez (Amilio) of Gary, IN; brothers Frank and David Delgado both of Hobart, IN. 

 All services are private.  Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
