Phillip G. Daugherty

Phillip G. Daugherty, age 78, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on July 25, 1946.  Phillip was a member of Salem Baptist Church, worked for the L&N Railroad, Friendly Furniture for over 17 years, the County Road Dept. and a former janitor for BCHS.  He loved hunting, fishing and taxidermy.  He was preceded in death by his wife Anita Odle Daugherty; granddaughter Jaclyn Daugherty; parents James O. and Maxine McKee Daugherty; daughter-in-law Lisa Russ Daugherty.

Phillip is survived by his children Robbie Daugherty, Davy Daugherty (Heather) and Jason Daugherty (Marnie); grandchildren  Keisha Russell (Brian), Koty Parkinson (Matt), Drew Ragland, Dawson Daugherty, Ty Daugherty, Cody Russ (Brittany), Cody and Austin Colgate; many loved great grandchildren; sisters Marcia Burke and Darla Mueller; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Hampton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Wednesday from 8:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
