Randy D. Brown, 72, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, Oct. 10. He was born in Quality, Ky. on Jan. 9, 1948 to the late Glen Woodrow and Dortha Belcher Brown. Randy was a member of Pleasant Grove Church and attended Carve Rock Church. He was a self employed mechanic and Chief Building Engineer for a construction company in Nashville, Tn. Randy enjoyed driving around the county to sightsee and was an avid Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ricky Brown.
He is survived by his special family Ronnie and Betty Brown, Kim, Robert and Emily Cunningham, Amy, Pat, Matthew and Andrew Gill and a multitude of cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Beaty officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 12 from 4-8pm and Tuesday 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Shurman Brown, Gerald Brown, Reed Forgy, Robert Cunningham, Dwight Tyree and Hal Duncan.
