Richard "Ricky" Dean Burden

 Richard “Ricky” Dean Burden, 69, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Butler County on March 21, 1952 to Edgar and Opal Cox Burden. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, was a deck hand and Pilot of a Riverboat. Rick loved to fish and play horseshoes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Charles Burden and sister Louise Burden.

Ricky is survived by his wife of 51 years Mable Dalton Burden of Bowling Green; children Heather Smith of Bowling Green, Chris Crain of Bowling Green; grandchildren Hunter Smith and Zoey Wallace both of Bowling Green; sisters Loretta Sweatt (Bill) of Morgantown, Sherlin Burden of Bowling Green, Teresa Anthony (Mark) of Bowling Green; Several nieces and nephews; a host of friends and church family.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 at 11am with Bro. Brian Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Haven Memory Garden Cemetery.  

Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home from 4-8pm and Monday 8am until time of service.
