Scottie "Fatsy" Lane Embry

Scottie “Fatsy” Lane Embry, 47, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Bowling Green, Ky. on Dec. 22, 1973.  He was a drywall hanger and of the Baptist faith.  Fatsy loved to coyote hunt, fish and ride horses. He liked to start trouble, as in bark, but couldn’t take the bite. He was a devoted son, brother and friend.  He is preceded in death by his parents Debra Kay Lee and Ronald Lane Embry and nephew Austin Lane Dockery.

Scottie is survived by his wife Dawn Embry of Zanesville, Oh.; daughter Chelsey Lane Embry of Ohio; three stepchildren Arielle, Colt and Haley Rose of Ohio; sisters Debbie Embry Geary (Jeff) of Morgantown and Nina Hensley (Johnathan) of Mount Sterling; brother Lannie Embry of McHenry, Ky.   

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 10am until 8pm at Smith Funeral Home.
