Sharon Rose (Rogers) Dotson

Sharon Rose Rogers Dotson, age 84, of Bowling Green, KY passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  She was born in Warren Co, KY on March 13, 1940.  She attended Morgantown Methodist Church and loved her dog, Buddy.  Sharon worked for Dr. Wan as an x-ray technician and medical assistant for many years.  Eventually she opened Butler County Realty, where she worked for 27 years.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, David Dotson; parents Daniel Rogers and Mable Burton Young; son James Daniel Dotson; daughter Penny Wester; siblings Faye Thomas, Jo Chyle, Janice Amos, Dana Smith and William Carl Rogers.

Sharon is survived by her son Allen Dotson (Tammy); grandchildren Danny Wester (Rita), Beth Wester, Chadd Wester (Ashley), Thaddeus Dotson (Morgan), Benjamin Dotson (Kailey), Lucas Dotson and Maggie Grace Hunt (Kaleb); many great and great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Tammy Lynch (JD) and son-in-law Roger Wester (Donna); one brother Rick Young; several nieces and nephews and special friend and caregiver Yvette Pierantoni.

A memorial will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
