Shelby Jean (Ray) Givens

Shelby Jean Ray Givens, 62, of Quality, Ky. passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at her residence.  Shelby was born in Sparta Tn. on Dec. 22, 1957 to the late Walter and Betty Bowlin Ray.  She was retired from Berry Plastics where she was a shipping supervisor. Shelby loved riding horses, gardening, canning, raising dogs, her swimming pool and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Diana Prater.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kenny Joe Givens of Morgantown; two sons Brian Givens (Natasha) of Morgantown and C.J. Givens (Heather) of Morgantown; five grandchildren Walter, Katelyn, Lauren, Kaylee Joe and Mae Givens all of Morgantown; two sisters Shirley Blancett (Raleigh) of Morgantown and Sue Martin (Norman) of Morgantown; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 17 at 4pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16 from 4-8pm and Monday from 11am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
