Shirley (Wingfield) Neighbors

Shirley Wingfield Neighbors, age 83, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Medical Center.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on May 1, 1942.   She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and a homemaker.  Shirley liked to work in her flower garden.  She was preceded in death by her husband’s Ray Ball and Archie Neighbors; parents Hobert and Gusta McKinney Wingfield; sisters Freda Hope and Linda Wingfield.

She is survived by her nephews Danny Blanchard (friend Sandy) and Terry Blanchard; great nephews Joel Blanchard and Jacob Blanchard (Kelly); great-great niece MaKenna Blanchard; special friend Cheryl McDaniel.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at 12:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Frankie Skipworth and Bro. Woody Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Ohio Co.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday from 9:00am until 12:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
