Tabitha Lynn Williams Phelps, age 58, of Hartford, KY passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Ohio Co., KY on March 12, 1967.  Tabitha loved to do many things but nothing greater than the joys of being a mammaw and a great mammaw to all her babies.  She was preceded in death by her parents Kenny Joe Williams and Ruth Burden Stevens and her loving sister Christina Beebout.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard Phelps; sons Shawn Phelps (Nicole), Brandon Phelps (Jessica), Jamie Phelps (Rosie) and her bonus son Jonathan Smith (Lakin); grandchildren Ava Hunley (Jack), Christian, Shelby Wyatt, Kaleb, Hailey Phelps; bonus grand babies Addashae Alfrey, Paisley and Maggie Mae Smith; her greatest blessing was her great-granddaughter Gracelynn Mae Hunley; brother Jimmy Williams (Tonya); sisters Joanna Smith (Johnny) and Keneeda Young.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025 at 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Ohio Co, KY.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Morgantown, KY  42261.
