Tereesa L. (Johnson) Odle

Tereesa L. Johnson Odle, age 72, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on Nov. 18, 1952.  Tereesa was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and a former apartment manager for government housing.  She loved to sing at church and many singing benefits for friends and families, she also enjoyed community theatre.  She was preceded in death by her parents George Robert “Buster” Johnson and Susie Phelps Johnson Schaser; step-father Fred Schaser; niece Holly Miller and great nephews Alex Foster and Matthew Morgan; brother-in-law Lee Phelps.

Tereesa is survived by her husband of 54 years, Douglas Odle of Morgantown; son Jonathan Odle of Morgantown; Christie Findley of Morgantown; grandchildren Clay Odle of Bowling Green, Colter and Carsyn Findley of Cromwell; sister Brenda Phelps of Morgantown, Terry Bewley of Beaver Dam and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025 at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Embry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Grant Phelps Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 15 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
