Tommy E. Williams

Tommy E. Williams, age 69, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on Dec. 1, 1955.  Tommy was a retired coal miner and fire fighter, who served as the Chief for several years.  He loved to tinker and fish.    He was preceded in death by his parents TJ and Kathleen Snell Williams; wife Suzie Lee Williams; brothers Bub Williams, Buddy Williams and sister Louise Harold.

Tommy is survived by his children Barbie Polston (John) of Bowling Green, KY, Todd Williams (Tiffany) and Jon Williams (Samantha) all of Morgantown, KY; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Lena Bell Williams and Mildred Williams; brother Roger “Bobo” Williams (Carolyn) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 at 1:30pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Sunday, Dec. 22 from 10:00am until 1:30pm at Smith Funeral Home.  To honor Tommy’s memory, if you are sending flowers, please send roses.
