Troy Wayne Hatcher, age 71, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on July 21, 1953.  Troy was a heavy equipment operator and a member of IUOE Local 181 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and gardening.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Mary Johnson Hatcher and sister Anna Martin.

Troy is survived by his daughter Amanda Sublett (Stephen); granddaughters Gracie Sublett and Abbie Sublett; companion Donna Hatcher; sisters Daisy Parks and Ivy Goodall; brothers Clay Hatcher (Hattie), Bobby Hatcher (Francis), Tommy Hatcher (Susan), Ernie Hatcher (Sandy) and Mike Hatcher; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hatcher officiating.  Burial will be held in the Little Muddy Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
