Wilda "Dinky" Embry Bratcher, 75, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Apr. 19, 1944 to the late Arthur Lucian and Dewey Turner Embry. Dinky was a member of First Apostolic Pentecostal Church. She loved to read, crochet and work puzzle books. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roscoe Bratcher Sr.; sister Midge Shepherd and brothers Jessie and Pete Embry.
Dinky is survived by her daughter Tonnie Simmons (Mark); sons Tim Bratcher, Roscoe Bratcher Jr. (Cyndi) and Bobby Bratcher; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters Martha Garner and Pam Hudson (David); brothers Essie, Charles and Vester Embry; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Newton Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, October 28 from 4:30-8pm and on Tuesday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
